Every time I take a trip to the bookstore I go straight to my favorite section: the art section. The art section posses a large selection of collection in areas of fashion from presence to the past, photography with inspiriting images, and latest graphic design technology trends. I always looked forward in discovering the bright colors sending beautiful message of the latest fad to readers. Fashion never gets old especially the new millennium that occurred a few years ago.
The year of 2009 as took a step back into the past with the ballet flats with the tight skinny jeans adding the popularity of vintage bangles to Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The pop culture is getting bigger with an increasing variety of fashion categories emerging from the past. What in store for the next millennium? Is the world of scientific-fiction stories will come alive as authors predicted in their books of flying cars and alien neighbors. Or this cycle of repetitive styles of the vintage age continue to rise.
Yet, the bookstore led me to my answer. A fashion book called “How to Be a Hepburn in a Hilton World: The Art of Living With Style, Class & Grace” By: Jordan Christy which discussed about maintaining old fashioned virtues in a modern world with some helpful guidelines about her own experience about some fashion advice in all aspect of life. Another book is Pantone fashion Color Report Spring 2009 trends straight from the fashion industry during the New York Fashion Week with ideas about the hottest spring trends.
